Luctor 42 tooling & engineering for sale!
Due to new developments we offer the female production tooling of the Luctor 42 for sale, including the engineering and detailed drawings. This exciting project forms an ideal basis for creating a new race yacht, either for IRC and/or the GP42 box rule. We also have drawings available of an Open 40 version with canting keel, full carbon construction, single handed deck/cockpit layout. All research and development is ready and tested. The original boat builders are available in order to benefit of the learning curve they have established. This is a unique way to step into a turn-key project and safe time and money. For information about this offer please contact us.
The Luctor 42 came in third in the highly competitive IRC 0 fleet on corrected time in the JP Morgan Round The Island Race 2009. She managed to stay close to the bigger TP52's on actual performance and finishing just 36 minutes behind Maxi yachts like Leopard of London (100 ft.). The conditions were variable throughout the day, making this result not only a great effort but also a proof of the wide performance range of the Luctor 42.
The Luctor 42 is one of the few 'smaller' designs out there that successfully combines breathtaking speed with wins on corrected time in both IRC and ORC International. Please contact us for more information.
Last weekend the Luctor 42 took "Line Honours" and a third place on corrected time in IRC 0 in the RORC North Sea Race. The 180 nautical miles race started in Harwich (UK) and finished in Scheveningen (The Netherlands). The wind was around 12 knots true wind speed which made it harder to get a good result, but the boat proved to be quick around the track in this medium weather condition.
